London is in full Diamond Jubilee mode, preparing for next week end when the Royal Family and hundreds of others take to the Thames in boats. Flags are flying, red, white and blue are the colours of the moment.....

The sun and blue skies have made eating outside a joy and we are lucky enough to have two terraces and a garden hidden away in Notting Hill Gate. It is as if you are gardening in the dining room...old friends a glass of wine from our village in the Var surrounded by jasmine, roses and all the energy of plants in the spring after weeks of rain and now blue skies and hot sun.
