THE GARDEN IN WINTER

Two weekends ago we were under snow, bright blue skies and hard frosts

 Last weekend its was all gone and the first signs of spring could be seen. The garden had become a garden of  textures .........................subtle colours that changed with the light

with a single flash of blue hidden amongst the dead leaves from last year

We are now officially in a drought so gardening will need to adapt......................
